EVENT DETAILS
Clear your calendar - Learn how you can use & leverage the Columbia Nano Labs! Hear from the panel of entrepreneurs who have done just that. Listen to our faculty & technical experts about the way sophisticated tools contribute to cutting-edge research. Come one, come all, bring a guest. This is going to be epic!

Columbia University's Research Initiative in NanoTechnology (CNI) represents an interdisciplinary community dedicated to advancing research & development in Nanoscale Science & Engineering for over a quarter of a century. To support its research community, Columbia has invested in a set of user shared facilities that offer advanced instrumentation in sophisticated labs with highly-professional technical staff available to assist. While Columbia has always made these facilities available to other universities, the start-up community, & industry partners, such external use has recently burgeoned.

To learn more about how Columbia researchers, start-up community & industry can use the Columbia Clean Room for micro-and nanofabrication, Materials Characterization Facility & Electron Microscopy Facility, please join us on October 29th in the Davis Auditorium (CEPSR Building - 4th floor) on the Columbia Morningside Campus for our first annual Nano Day.

With Mary Boyce (Dean, CU SEAS), Peter de Menocal (Dean, CU A&S), Keren Bergman (CU), Michal Lipson (CU), Colin Nuckolls (CU), Nava Ariel-Sternberg (CU CNI), Amir Zangiabadi (CU Electron Microscopy Lab), Danial Paley (CU Shared Materials Characterization Lab), Vincent Lee (CEO, Lumiode), Jacob Trevino (Principal Scientist, Chemeleon), Patrick Truitt (Principal Scientist, SeeQC), Nicholas Manousos (Co-Founder, Firehouse Horology), & Pravina Raghavan (EVP, NYESD)
