Join Scott Moss, co-founder oftipe.io, a YC-backed startup, as he reveals his struggles & strategies of breaking into software engineering. A graduate of Hack Reactor's 2013 batch, Scott maneuvered the woes of stereotypes as a black veteran & perfected his hustle. Having emerged successfully as a technologist, entrepreneur & CEO, Scott joins us to share his learnings in the hopes of helping others begin their careers in technology.

This Webinar is held online through video conference.


Students will need to have their laptops. Windows, Mac or Linux will do it!

About the Speaker
Scott MossCo-founder & CEO at tipe.io (YC W18)
























Scott is a product engineer, entrepreneur & impassioned leader whose early career was spent in the Navy as an Aircraft Technician. After realizing alack of passion for a long-term career in the military, he swiftlyrevisited his obsession with technology & made a leap of faith into the world of software engineering by way of Hack Reactor's 2013 batch. After graduating, Scott led the development of Hack Reactor Remote,the world's first online software engineering immersion program, & later went on to co-found AngularClass & work as a Software Engineer at Udacity. In his most recent pursuit, Scott co-founded tipe.io & participated in Y-Combinator's 2018 Winter Batch, where he now serves as the CEO.
