After ten years of meetups, talks, & late-night debugging conversations, Rust NYC is throwing the biggest free event & we want everyone there. Join us for an open bar at Globe Bar on Friday, June 26 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm, open to every corner of the Rust community.
If you've been to our events before, you know we love a good speaker lineup. But this one's different. We're setting the agenda aside entirely, because what ten years really deserves is a chance to simply be in the room together. No panels just the people who have made Rust NYC the largest Rust meetup in the world, finally getting a moment to breathe, connect, & celebrate.
This community has a wide range of expertise. People who were writing Rust before most people had heard of it, & those just now writing their first lines of code drawn in by the promise of a language that makes hard things possible. This anniversary is a celebration of all of it. The history, the growth, & the thousands of people who have shown up over the years to learn, share, & build something together.
Take a moment to look back at how far we've come. Rust has gone from an idea to powering some of the most critical software in the world, & New York City has been right in the middle of that story. From startups to enterprise teams, the Rust NYC community has helped shape what modern systems programming looks like & that is genuinely worth celebrating.
None of this would exist without the generosity of our sponsors. Thank you to Git AI, Antithesis, Lawrence Harvey, & Macro for supporting this community & making our biggest free event possible.
Come celebrate with us.
