About the Speakers
Winston Featherly-Bean
Data Scientist, Argo Group
Winston is a data scientist at Argo Digital, a startup-style group within commercial insurance carrier Argo Group. He previously taught data science at General Assembly, & launched the data science operations at Locus Analytics, a think-tank in New York developing novel tools for economic analysis. He has a BA in economics from Oxford University.
Benjamin Reid
Founder & CEO, Elasticiti
As Founder & CEO of Elasticiti, Ben draws on two decades of trailblazing experience in data & ad operations to guide development of custom data solutions for online media clients. After graduating from Boston University with a BA in English Literature, Ben made paths where none yet existed. As ad operations director for Uproar, Ben built a proprietary Telnet-connected ad server hosted in Hungary. He went on to oversee more than 7 years of growth in sales operations at About.com, to create the Online Ad Reporting XML data exchange adopted by the Interactive Advertising Bureau for its e-business initiative, & to grow DMP & cooperative business as a GM at Nielsen company eXelate.
He was an early member of AdMonsters & served on the IAB Ad Ops Council for many years. Ben is also the Founder & Host of the NY Yield Meetup & NY Tableau Meetup.
