The David Prize is a celebration of individuals & ideas to create a better, brighter New York City. Open to any individual working in the five boroughs, the Prize welcomes those with the grit & vision to change our communities, culture & our future for good.
According to the Wall Street Journal, The David Prize is "a new cash award that may be the most freewheeling grant competition in the city." The Prize aims to fund those that others do not, & isn't bound by sectors, disciplines or impact metrics. Each year, the Prize will award five individuals $200K each, no strings attached.
Join The David Prize for a conversation with winners from the inaugural year of the competition. You will learn about new ideas that are shaping New York's future today in health & education led by individuals that fell into 'social entrepreneurship' without realizing it.
