Women Entrepreneurship Week is dedicated to recognizing & celebrating female founders at Montclair State University & around the globe.
This year's celebration at MSU will be even bigger with an awards ceremony & amazing lineup of inspirational speakers & informative discussions.
Join us as we celebrate this year's theme: "Envisioning the Third Way: The Entrepreneurial Journey for Multi-Dimensional Women".
We are proud to celebrate the amazing female founders who are making an impact in our community & are excited to welcome the following guest speakers & panelists:
Cyndie Spiegel: Keynote Speaker, Facilitator & 2x Best-selling Author. Cyndie is an igniter of powerful conversation about self-exploration, hope & authenticity. She is also the best-selling author of two books: Microjoys: Finding Hope (Especially) When Life Is Not Okay [2023] & A Year of Positive Thinking: Daily Inspiration, Wisdom & Courage [2018] which sold nearly 300,000 copies in the United States & has been translated into multiple languages.
Adriana Carrig: Founder & CEO of Little Words Project. Bullied from a very young age, Adriana made bracelets to help herself through difficult times. Since 2013, her company has grown from her parent's basement to an influential & community-first lifestyle brand. Today her company has over 100,000 direct online customers, 750 wholesale accounts & opened retail locations on Bleecker Street & NoLita in Manhattan, Pier Village in Long Branch, Boston, Georgetown, San Francisco & Miami!
Cynthia Pong, JD: Award-winning career & leadership coach, speaker, & author of Don't Stay in Your Lane: The Career Change Guide for Women of Color. An NYU-trained lawyer turned career coach, she founded her company, Embrace Change, to get women of color--and people of color--the money, power, & respect that they deserve. In 2023, the flagship leadership training program she created & launched, the Leadership Accelerator (134% funded through one month of crowdfunding), won an Anthem Award. Graduates of the Leadership Accelerator have gone on to land prestigious fellowships (White House, Harvard, Stanford), paid speaking engagements, & promotions & raises. Cynthia's been featured in The Atlantic, NBC, CBS, & NPR; she's shared a virtual stage with Magic Johnson, & is a LinkedIn Top Voice for Job Search & Career.
Paula Machado Jackler: Montclair State University Alum, B2B Marketing Leader, Tech Entrepreneur.

She is a sought-after speaker & author of multiple books. Her next is entitled A Healthy State of Panic, part-memoir, part-guidebook on how fear can be a superpower to achieve true wealth & career success. She's been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, & Time Magazine, & has appeared frequently on Today, Good Morning America, & more. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in finance & international business & holds a master's degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Maya Brooks: Award-Winning Product Manager, Educator, Speaker, & Entrepreneur in New York City. An ex financial analyst turned web developer turned product manager, Maya spent the bulk of her career at the intersection of Fintech & EdTech leveraging her product, technical, & operating expertise. Currently, Maya is Founder & CEO of Privy Labs, an anti-piracy protocol designed to protect media content from harm, abuse, & misuse. Maya is also the Co-Organizer of Blockchain NYC, the largest local meetup of blockchain enthusiasts in the New York Area (10K+ members) where she develops programming around Web3 Consumer Tech & Diversity & Access. Maya earned her Bachelor's degree in Economics from New York University, her MBA from Harvard Business School, & holds professional certifications in Web Development, JavaScript, Python, Blockchain, & Cybersecurity.
