The Sustainability Council at FIT hosts a Sustainable Business & Design Conference each spring. The event provides a platform for collaboration & discussion throughout the creative industries, highlighting advances in sustainable design & thought leadership. Environmental & social challenges & potential solutions are explored through innovative student projects, cross-institutional research, & industry partnerships. In recent years, breakout sessions have included topics such as farm-to-fashion, textile development, sustainable fashion supply chain, mindfulness in design, & packaging materials & recycling. The wide-ranging program features keynote speakers, panels, & projects that delve into pressing issues & exciting developments in the industry.
This year's Sustainable Business & Design Conference theme is Innovating for the Future. It offers branding & speaking opportunities, as well as brand logo placement on conference marketing collateral.
