Pitch an Investor: Sophie Starck from Insight Partners

This month, we're joined by Sophie Starck is an investor at Insight Partners, a NYC-based growth-stage software investor with $60B AUM writing checks from Series A through pre-IPO. Founded in 1995, they've invested in 400+ companies including Twitter, Shopify, Qualtrics, Udemy, Hootsuite, & Veeam. Aside from the capital, they have a 100+ person team in-house (called Onsite) that has 25 years of expertise in helping software companies scale, helping our portfolio companies with everything from sales to strategy.
Sophie focuses on the venture side of the portfolio (Series A - C) across enterprise SaaS & consumer, having helped lead Insight's investments in Bubble, CookUnity, LawVu & Shelf among others. Prior to joining, Sophie helped early-stage startups fundraise at the equity crowdfunding platform SeedInvest & worked with ScaleUps in emerging markets at the non-profit Endeavor.
Outside of work, she obsesses over the U.S. Women's National Soccer team & is always looking for new recommendations for great coffee, bagels, or running routes in NYC & beyond.
