Laurie Voss is a web developer, in the sense that he builds websites, & also in the sense that he develops the web: his passion is making the web itself bigger, better & more powerful, & he believes the best way to do that is to get more people building web sites & web apps. Lauriestarted a web development company in high school, & has spent the last twenty-three years in tech. The first 15 years of his career were mostly as an individual contributor, building sites at every level from front-end through the application stack & down to the level of DBA & systems administration.For the last 10 years, Laurie has been running two startups that co-founded, as CTO, COO, & most recently CDO or Chief Data Officer.
