Join us for the launch of the App Idea Awards, hosted by ROKO Labs, General Assembly, and Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of Greater New York - a competition inviting people to submit app ideas (or apps with less than 1,000 monthly active users).

Finalists will go on to pitch to First Round Capital, Greycroft, Samsung Ventures, 645 Ventures, and Founder Collective. The winner of the competition will win $70K in app design and development to build their app, without sacrificing any equity or IP.

We have invited some of the top angel and venture investors to give insight on the state of early-stage investing in 2017 and what they look for in potential portfolio companies.

Featured Speakers:

Jason Klein - Founder & CEO, On Grid Ventures
Adam Quinton, Founder & CEO, Lucas Point Ventures
Alicia Syrett, Founder & CEO, Pantegrion Capital
Zosia Ulatowski - Principal, Cornerstone Ventures
Jason Eiswerth - Managing Director, Nima Capital
Amy Kadomatsu, President, ROKO Labs

By attending this event, you'll learn tips and tricks for applying to the App Idea Awards, and have any questions you may have about the competition answered. You'll also hear what early-stage investors look for in a pitch deck and how to structure your own pitch.
