The Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) has led the development of technologies & strategies to move millions sustainably, conserve energy, recycle resources, & increase efficiency.
Join us in celebrating Earth Day with Thomas Abdallah, the MTA's Chief Environmental Engineer. With almost four decades of experience in the field, Abdallah will take us through some of the MTA's past, current, & future efforts to achieve environmental sustainability, from electric buses to regenerative braking & rainwater collection.
