The Make It In Brooklyn Smart Cities pitch contest showcases a top selection of NYC's startups working to improve urban infrastructure & create smarter more resource-efficient cities through innovations in urban technologies.
Five finalists will pitch to a panel of judges. One winner will take home a $5,000 cash prize, no strings attached.
A $5 ticket gets you beer & snacks & time to network with NYC startups & entrepreneurs, investors, & folks from the Brooklyn tech ecosystem.

Do you have a Startup? Want to Apply to Pitch?
If your startup is contributing towards increased citizen engagement, hard infrastructure, social capital & digital technologies that make cities more livable, resilient & better able to respond to challenges, then we want to hear from you! Applications are open to startups that have a new & original business venture that targets a smart city issue & is able to demonstrate potential for scale & positive impact. We recognize that the smart cities topic is broad. We want to hear about urban technologies that are contributing towards improved & more resource-efficient air quality, food & agriculture, clean energy, fighting climate change, retrofitting & building energy efficiency, real estate technology, digital infrastructure, mobility & transportation, waste management, supply chain, big data & analytics, & more.
