Apply now for the RLab Bootcamp Summer 2020 cohort! This 8-week incubator for New York City university-based teams will run online from June 12 to August 7 & includes a $10,000 grant & weekly curriculum. Applications are due on May 8.
Program Information
WHO SHOULD APPLY
We are looking for teams coming out of New York City colleges & universities who are working on the next wave of spatial computing & future interface technologies. This program is designed for teams with a product idea that they want to validate & turn into a business, or research that they want to commercialize. Teams that include faculty, students or recent graduates from any higher education institution in New York City are invited to apply.
Technologies & research we are interested in include:
XR, VR, AR & MR & 3D technologies
Computer visualization
Virtual production tools
Volumetric & other forms of capture
Neural networks, deep learning, synthetic media
Voice interfaces & natural language processing

As a partnership between New York City & its universities, RLab's mission is to support entrepreneurship & help commercialize new technologies emerging from the city's universities. With a consortium of university partners & a network that includes startups, corporations & investors, RLab connects research & design projects emerging from universities to commercial opportunities in NYC & beyond.
WHAT THE PROGRAM INCLUDES
The 8-week RLab Bootcamp program will run from June 12 - August 7, 2020. This program includes:
$10,000 grant upon completion of the program
Weekly programming focused on lean startup methodology
Workshops facilitated by world-class mentors, experienced entrepreneurs & business leaders, & experts in XR & spatial computing
Access to a network of like-minded startups, as well as potential advisors & partners
(Virtual) Demo Day with an opportunity to pitch to potential partners & investors
