Meet the Speaker:
Erwan Rambourg is the Global Co-Head of Consumer & Retail Equity Research at HSBC. Rambourg joined HSBC in 2005 after working for eight years as a marketing manager in the luxury industry, notably for Richemont & LVMH. He is the author of 'The Bling Dynasty - Why the Reign of Chinese Shoppers has Only just Begun', published in Sept 2014.
He will speak about the disconnect between macro fears on luxury demand that seem to be embedded in share price & the micro reality of a sector that seems to be more resilient than what investors fear, the importance of Chinese consumption in luxury & why demand is shifting back to the mainland & reasons why M&A will remain a central theme in the luxury sector this year.
