Join us for an inspiring event during Women's History Month & International Women's Day as WE NYC proudly presents the "Breaking Barriers in Emerging Industries" event. This transformative gathering is dedicated to fostering a thriving ecosystem for women entrepreneurs.
Our event will bring together a diverse array of participants, including representatives from different programs of New York City Small Business Services, entrepreneurs, & corporate innovation leaders. Together, we will engage in insightful discussions about strategies to advance women's entrepreneurship & increase access to new economic opportunities within the New York City landscape.
Highlights of the day include:
1. Keynote Address: Gain insights from prominent keynote speaker who will provide a visionary perspective on the future of women entrepreneurship. We will share the higlights of the Gender Equity Plan recently released by Mayor Eric Adams.
2. Micro Talks: Immerse yourself in a series of engaging microtalks featuring prominent programs at NYC Small Business Services. These short, powerful presentations will provide quick bursts of knowledge, enabling you to gain valuable insights into the world of services offered by SBS.
3. Founder's Perspective: Hear insightful perspectives from innovative women-led businesses, showcasing their groundbreaking ideas & solutions.
4. Mentor Tables: In parallel to the event, we will run mentor tables with some of our WE NYC mentors for you to ask your questions & receive guidance. You can also learn how to become a WE NYC mentor or receive one-on-one mentor services.

WE NYC (Women Entrepreneurs NYC) is an initiative based out of the New York City Department of Small Business Services that is dedicated to helping women start & grow their businesses. Free services are available for women entrepreneurs across the five boroughs & in multiple languages. This event is co-managed by the WE Connect portfolio of WE NYC. WE Connect offers guidance to women entrepreneurs seeking to launch new ideas & increase business by connecting them with the right resources.
