Join us for a virtual panel discussion featuring three of the top female founders building the future of the internet.

In the not-so-distant future, Web3 will house our social interactions, personal identities, financial institutions, & much more. But as many champion Web3 as the next phase of the internet, we at Female Founders Fund know that the promise of a smarter, better, brighter future can only be achieved with innovation from diverse founders.

On Tuesday February 1st at 5pm EST, FFF Founding Partner Anu Duggal will moderate a virtual discussion between three of the top female founders in the industry: Renee Russo of Glow Labs, Mica Le John of Idoru, & Cokie Hasiotis of Twali. We'll dive into the major differences between Web2 & Web3, trends like decentralized identity, loyalty rewards & social tokens, DAOs & the future of work.

Panelists will share their thoughts on why the role of a community member means more now than ever before, the importance of collaboration between DAOs, possible futures for creator funds, Web3 culture, & much more. (No idea what any of this means? Get up to speed via our Resources Guide at the bottom of this event page.)

Renee Russo is an entrepreneur, engineer, & co-founder of Glow Labs. Glow Labs is a white-label loyalty rewards program on the blockchain. Glow Labs supports brand partners through a fully self-service & customizable platform, allowing them to create their own micro-economy in the metaverse. Brands transitioning from Web2 to Web3 will need custom NFT rewards, loyalty coins, & automatic rewarding in both the physical & online world.

Renee has deep Web3 knowledge having launched her own NFT project, DinoMonks, & being an active community member in the NFT space. In previous roles, she was the lead frontend engineer & application owner at JP Morgan, where she built & scaled a company-wide application from the bottom up.

Mica Le John is CEO & Co-Founder of Idoru, an avatar-creation app where self-expression runs free. Mica is also the 2020-21 Hopelab Entrepreneurial Fellow.

As an educator, technologist & writer, Mica's work uses an intersectional lens to explore the relationship between technology & art.

For the past three years, she & her co-founder have been building tools focused on creativity & collaboration for young people.

Cokie Hasiotis is the founder & CEO of Twali, the marketplace DAO connecting web3 companies with the non-technical experts they need to thrive.

Additionally, Cokie advises & invests in a number of fintech & web3 companies.

Previously, she cofounded Lasagna Tech, was Chief of Staff at The Block, & was on the Fintech Today founding team.

Anu Duggal is the founding partner of Female Founders Fund, the pre-eminent early-stage fund investing in female-founded technology companies. Since its founding in 2014, Female Founders Fund has invested in over 40 of the fastest growing female-led technology companies nationwide.

Anu has been honored in Fortune's 40 Under 40 list in 2018 & Crain's Notable Women in Tech list in 2019, & praised for her efforts in starting a movement to diversify venture capital with distinctions, such as Business Insider's Ultimate List of Female Startup Investors & Top 4 Venture Firms Investing in Women.
