Madison Maxey, founder & technical lead of LOOMIA, has been exploring the intersection of materials & technologies to create algorithmically generated visual patterns & flexible circuitry that can seamlessly integrating into soft goods to heat, light, sense & track data.
Thogether with Sol Lederer, Loomias Blockchain Director, they work on data collection to profile how a user is interacting with the garment ie. washing, frequency of wear, & level of activity. The options are endless.

Speakers:

Madison Maxey
is passionate about materials & creative technology. She focuses on bringing flexible, robust circuitry (e-textiles) to scale as Founder & Technical Lead at LOOMIA. Maddys work has built the foundation for several pending patents & has lead to invitations to lecture at Columbia University, Parsons School of Design, NYU & University of Illinois Champaign Urbana.

Dr. Lederer
has over 15 years of technical experience in computer system design & programming. He is the Blockchain Director at LOOMIA, an electronic textiles company. He has cofounded a blockchain education company Blockmatics & has been teaching about blockchains for 3 years & recently co-authored Blockchain: A Practical Guide to Developing Business, Law, & Technology Solutions.
