This CryptoMondays NYC will feature the launch of the DAOfest NYC Meetup. DAOfest is focused on advancing the technology & adoption of decentralized governance globally. Learn more at

This Meetup will feature a diverse panel of DAO experts speaking about the current state of DAOs & putting it in historical & legal context.

Are DAOs the future of work?
How do DAOs relate to cooperatives, holocracy, & other modern forms of decentralized governance?
Are DAOs even legal?
What are the next steps for the space?

The program will be friendly to DAO experts & newbies alike

Ezra Weller is a co-founder of the FestDAO, a new decentralized organization putting on events around the world. He is also COO & co-founder at Groupmuse & a team member at DAOstack, one of the projects building DAO infrastructure on Ethereum.

Luke Duncan is a long-time contributor to the Aragon project, working on research, strategy, & adoption for Aragon One. More recently he has been working to bootstrap 1Hive, a DAO working on various projects to improve how online communities govern shared resources.

With experience in other decentralized governance schemes like holocracy, Nathan will ground the DAO conversation in its recent historical context.

Ross Campbell is a co-founder of OpenLaw & the soon-to-launch LAO, a DAO focused on solving long-standing problems of legal compliance in the DAO space. @openlawofficial; @OpenESQ; @TheLAOOfficial; @omg_pool;
