Rachel Lackner is a Research Associate in the Department of Scientific Research at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She was previously an Andrew W. Mellon Conservation Fellow, where her research focused on the identification of organic dyes & pigments & the development of advanced mass spectrometry techniques. Prior to working at The Met, Rachel received her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
