LOCALHOST is New York's Sovereign AI Hackathon, hosted at The School by dmarz & Brenner. Sponsored by Variant, Darkbloom, Tinfoil, Cognee, & Superlinked. For one day, 50 to 100 researchers, builders & product people take over The School in Williamsburg to hack on open weights, open harnesses, open memory & private AI. The School is an Arts, Culture, & Technology Hub pushing the frontier of arts & technology, expect to meet open source AI developers & researchers as well as a painter & sculptor. There might even be an AI Psychosis After party for the winning projects.
