Hyperledger Fabric (HLF) - Blockchains architecture - by its very nature is plug & play in order to satisfy the majority of business use cases; consequently it is hard to configure properly. In most cases this is not well documented nor are the best practices easy to find & seldom followed. This leads to unsafe, buggy & slow systems not worthy of what one expects of any enterprise application.

We propose to address these challenges of privacy & security by presenting the best practices of how to implement enterprise grade HLF implementations. Furthermore, we will discuss use cases of privacy in the Medical & Insurance industry.

At this talk, you can expect the following:

1. Obtain a deep understanding of the privacy mechanisms in the current HLF version 1.4
2. Learn about the security aspects of HLF & IBM Blockchain platform with respect to configuration as well as cloud & hardware choices
3. Find out what kind of business are adopting some or all of these privacy & security mechanisms in the real world today.

Agenda:

630pm - doors open, pizza, drinks, & networking
7-745pm - presentation
745-815pm - Q&A
815-845pm - networking
