VentureSails is an invite-only community comprising thousands of founders, investors, & operators. Over the past seven years, this group has grown entirely via word-of-mouth, tracing its roots back to the original 12 people on a sailboat.
The Hosts
Drew Moffitt created the VentureSails & NY AI Engineers communities, with a career rooted in the startup world. Having grown up immersed in his family's real estate business, he has become increasingly active in the asset class over the last six years. His portfolio includes running a tiny-home short-term rental community, flipping residential properties, & investing in mineral leases, as well as ground-up & value-add multifamily projects.
Elizabeth Roy founded Skyhampton, a real estate firm with commercial properties across the Eastern United States. She has spent her career in commercial real estate investment & structured finance. Over the last 22 years, she has closed more than $2 billion in transactions, building an institutional pedigree through leadership roles at New York Life, Morgan Stanley, & Merrill Lynch. Today, as an owner-operator, she actively manages a diverse private portfolio that includes multifamily complexes, grocery-anchored retail, & residential properties stretching across multiple states.
