Meet Your Instructor:
Eric Leininger is a registered Patent Agent & the founder/owner of Leininger Patents, a biotech consulting & patent agency firm. Leininger Patents has provided patent search, preparation, consultation, & drawings for more than 30 different clients. Dr. Leininger holds a PhD in Neurobiology from Tulane University & is a USPTO registered patent agent. In addition to his expertise in biology, Dr. Leininger has more than 10 years of hands-on programming experience in a variety of programming languages.
While developing his patent practice, Dr. Leininger conceived of the idea of assisted patent drafting in order to increase the efficiency of the patent preparation process. Using his programming experience, Dr. Leininger produced an early prototype of the assisted invention disclosure product that eventually led to the formation of PatentDive In addition to being a Patent Agent, Dr. Leininger also has the unique perspective of being both an entrepreneur & an inventor.
