The Automated Work Week:The Advance & Ethics of Artificial Intelligence & the Future of Work

The applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) are becoming ubiquitous in everyday life & the pace of development within the field is reaching an exponential rate. AI-borne automation is already having an enormous impact on unemployment in manufacturing jobs & other blue collar professions, lowering costs & increasing efficiency. Whether you drive a truck, work in a factory, a hospital, or on Wall Street, it's clear that new software algorithms & robotics will have a significant impact on your daily life. Many worry that these more efficient workers will eliminate jobs, while others believe that automation will usher us into a new golden age.

Join us at A/D/O on April 18th for a panel conversation about how & why AI will change the way we live & work over the next decade, & the ethical questions it presents. Led by URBAN-X Program Director, Nick Plante, our expert panel will feature:

We believe that dialogue is a fundamental element for understanding the complexity of our diverse personal universes, & the starting point of better solutions for a brighter urban life.
