IBM Tech Talks is back again! Get ready for another round of exciting conversation about innovative technologies & methods being used within the finance community. In partnership with Bijon Mehta,the founder of the Association of FinTech Professionals, Tech Talks will have a conversation with representatives from Citi & Capital One to discuss how traditional banks are incorporating digital innovation to leverage new services & enhance the customer's user experience. He has successfully developed & managed several entrepreneurial & in-house corporate ventures from concept to customer adoption.He is an active member of the global fintech community both as an Advisor to startups & as the founder of the Association of FinTech Professionals.

Rick Winslow (Capital One, Head of Digital Innovation & Transformation)
Rick leads digital innovation & transformation for Commercial Banking at Capital One. His cross-functional team of designers, engineers, data scientists & product managers is driving the adoption of artificial intelligence & other transformative technologies. Rick & his team are also staunch advocates for design thinking, agile, lean & other modern ways of working - coaching & training teams across the organization.
Prior to joining Capital One, Rick spent 20 years at startups & consultancies in information security, capital markets, commercial real estate, payments, & wealth management sectors. Born & partly-raised in Maine, Rick earned a B.A. in East Asian Studies at Columbia University & an M.B.A. from Rutgers University. He now teaches design in Columbia's Applied Analytics program, mentors at the MetaProp CRE tech accelerator, & lectures at various university courses & meetups.
