Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a groundbreaking technology with applications ranging from healthcare to national security. Advancements in AI models, particularly large language models (LLMs), are displaying human-like communication & reasoning capacities, successfully acing entry-level professional exams in medicine & law. Leading scientists, executives, & philosophers have referred to our age as the dawn of the Age of AI, an age where data & algorithms are integrated into everyday life. Amidst these rapid AI advancements, what are the implications for business strategy & the geopolitical landscape?
Speakers
Ofir Zigelman is a senior tech product management executive, with past national security roles in Israel. He holds an MBA from Wharton & an MPA from Harvard & is completing a Master's in International Relations from Cambridge, where his dissertation explored AI's geopolitical implications.
Will Seltzer is a senior machine learning engineer. He has worked at a series of high-growth startups, including Stripe, where he built the company's core machine learning infrastructure, Reddit, where he launched the company's first machine learning feed ranking models, Fitbit, & Yelp. He writes about AI for a general audience in his blog Intuitive AI (intuitiveai.substack.com).
