More networking!
Join us for an evening of tips, tricks, & best practices for using Figma as a UX writer, shared directly from a panel of Figma's own UX writers & product designers. This meetup is a unique opportunity to hear directly from the folks who shaped these tools, helping you turbocharge your workflow & make the most of partnerships with designers. (There will also be snacks. There will always be snacks!)
About the speakers:
Molly Rosen Marriner
Molly is a reader, writer, & former Alameda County civil jury foreman. Her tech jobs (TM) have included Figma, Pinterest, & an ed tech company so mortifying she cannot mention it here. In her spare time she treats her aging basset hound like a boyking & helms the rigorously research-based satire group Content Queen.
Ryan Reid
Ry is a Brooklyn-based product designer & writer at Figma, by way of Pinterest, Spotify, & Uber Eats. They describe themselves as an extravert with 30% battery health-generally excited while also yawning uncontrollably. Outside of work, they dream of doing other creative things, but often end up snacking instead.
Sophie Tahran
Sophie Tahran leads the UX Writing team at Figma. In past lives, she founded UX Writing practices at The New Yorker, Cond Nast, & InVision, & wore many hats (mostly pink, sometimes mustachioed) in the early days of Lyft. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband & unexpectedly large dog.
