EVENT DETAILS
For entrepreneurs considering the venture capital path for their startups, we know the road can be daunting. For most of us, we're having to build a brand new skillset when the stakes couldn't be higher.
How do we time our raise? What's the right valuation? And what's the best way to build conversations & relationships without being too explicit about plans to raise? Which VCs will be a good fit given stage, industry, model & personality? What matters to each of the investors we're pitching to? What terms make sense? How do we close a round with multiple investors? And how do we strategically plan a future that makes sense for the business, as well as a new set of stakeholders?
Join us for a panel discussion with investors who will share their insights about securing early-stage funding.
We're discussing:

Considering whether the venture path is right for your startup
Meeting the right people & building an investor funnel
Valuing your company
Deciding how much to raise
Understanding common mistakes & pitfalls in fundraising
Creating the right pitch
Negotiating

Pitch Night
The panel will be followed by a pitch session where 3 founders will give a 4-minute pitch about their company & then receive feedback from our panelists. Want to pitch? Apply here.
Deadline to apply is September 4th. Winning pitches will be contacted by September 6th.
