Join us during New York Climate Week for a dynamic, interactive discussion of how large & midsize companies can center community-led energy solutions to drive climate action. Through real-world examples & dialogue, we'll highlight how corporate resources & partnerships can amplify these solutions, accelerate the transition to a sustainable economy, & create meaningful impact where it's needed most.
To illustrate these concepts, we'll highlight the Sabah Renewable Energy Rural Electrification Roadmap (SabahRE2)-a grassroots-driven initiative to bring renewable energy access to rural & Indigenous communities in Malaysian Borneo. Through a partnership between local leaders, global companies, philanthropy, & international NGOs, the Sabah Roadmap is proving that when corporate climate action is directed with purpose, we can ignite transformative change.
This two-hour event will feature community voices, insights from corporate & nonprofit partners, & a short visual storytelling segment. Hosted by Green Empowerment, TONIBUNG, the Public Interest Registry (PIR), & WSP, this event is designed to inspire new collaborations & amplify a replicable model for energy justice.
