EVENT DETAILS
Bloomberg, Cornell Tech, & Tech:NYC invite you to join us for the latest installment of the Cornell Tech @ Bloomberg Speaker Series, featuring Zachariah Reitano, CEO & Co-founder of Ro, in conversation with Scarlet Fu of Bloomberg Television.

In 2017, Reitano co-founded the direct-to-consumer telemedicine service Roman, which helps men easily obtain treatment for conditions often considered taboo, including erectile dysfunction & hair loss. Rebranded in September 2018 as Ro, the company scaled quickly, raising $91 million in funding in its first year - a total that now stands at $176 million & includes such top-tier investors as General Catalyst, FirstMark Capital, & Canaan Partners.

Ro's business now includes not only Roman, but also Zero, which focuses on smoking cessation, & Rory, which targets women experiencing the symptoms of menopause. From online consultations with doctors to personalized treatment plans & fulfillment of prescriptions, Ro uses technology to offer patients a low-friction, end-to-end care experience for often ignored medical conditions.

We hope you'll join us for this conversation, in which Reitano & Fu will discuss Ro's founding & rapid growth, its ambition to be patients' first stop for a broad range of healthcare needs, how & why it addresses stigma in very public advertising campaigns, & how it discovered a massive market by focusing on conditions that many have, but few discuss.
