Join Rippling IT & The Objective-See Foundation for a happy hour at the Rippling NYC office.
Over drinks & light bites, enjoy networking with your fellow IT pros & enjoy a presentation from Patrick Wardle, Co-Founder of the Objective-See Foundation, titled: Your Agent, My Orders: Hacking ChatGPT.
A bit more about Patrick's presentation:
AI agents need broad access to our files, accounts, & devices, making them prime targets for hackers. We took a closer look at ChatGPT's macOS desktop app & uncovered vulnerabilities that allow attackers to turn your trusted AI assistant against you.
The impact? Attackers could hijack your Dot, take over your OpenAI account, access protected files, & more. Worse, these attacks present new challenges for traditional security tools: when an AI agent is compromised, malicious activity can look just like the agent doing its job.
We'll demo what happens when ChatGPT gets hacked, discuss why AI agents pose new security challenges, & explore what all this means for Mac admins & the future of endpoint security.
You can read more about this in NYT & Wired - & we hope to see you in-person for the full presentation.
See you soon!
