The role will sit within WorldRemits marketing team reporting to the Head of Marketing North America. This person will play a role in the overall marketing strategy & performance for all key corridors / consumer groups from North America, while focusing on driving brand awareness, consideration & ultimately transactions from a new & existing customer base. We seek a highly motivated individual with a commercial mentality that can oversee various marketing related initiatives / projects from media buys to events; as well as assist in building the overall marketing strategy for the region. This role collaborates cross-functionally with the Online, CRM, Brand & Comms teams within marketing, as well as the Commercial & Product teams & agency partners. Role may require up to 20% travel.

Key aspects of the role will include (but not be limited to):

Strategy, Planning & Measurement

  • Work with existing North America team & London HQ based Brand, Online, Comms & campaigns team on developing the 360 integrated marketing strategy for the region (US + Canada)
  • Provide strategic direction in the creation & implementation of insight-driven regional campaigns
  • Utilize insights & analysis to plan for & measure effectiveness of regional marketing campaigns, channel performance & overall retention & reactivation
  • Competitive benchmarking & analysis

Project Management / Campaign Execution

  • Develop, execute & measure always-on & seasonal campaigns for the region
  • Serve as the liaison / point of contact with internal teams & external partners on all aspects of execution: creative development, procurement of services, implementation / delivery & measurement
  • Train & manage existing & future team members on offline & online activity development, execution & measurement

Regional Digital Marketing Lead

  • Work with online team to determine best approaches for digital activity optimization in the region (US + Canada)
  • Serve as the lead in the region for any digital media planning & buying
  • Localize campaigns / creative as needed for the US, Canada & Latin America
  • Serve as in-market lead for testing of digital campaigns


Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Masters Degree preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish + English)
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience working in marketing or integrated marketing agency role & 3+ years managing people & projects
  • Must bring unique strengths in the areas of strategic thinking & business acumen coupled with excellent relationship building skills
  • Intimate knowledge of digital marketing: Facebook ad buying, Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, programmatic display & / or content marketing
  • Exceptional collaboration & teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Must be very adaptable & thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment

The Ideal Candidate has

  • A positive, solutions-oriented, & success-driven attitude
  • Counts with agency experience (media, experiential or creative)
  • Financial services or e-commerce experience (remittance industry preferred) either on client or agency side
  • Experience working in multicultural marketing (agency or brand side)
  • Proven ability to contribute to strategy
  • Digital marketing expertise (strategy, planning & / or buying)
  • Experience working in a global structure is a plus
