EVENT DETAILS
New York Women Social Entrepreneurs (NYWSE), an international nonprofit supporting the next generation ofwomen change-makers presents Winning Women a monthly community event featuring stories by women-led startups, female entrepreneurs, Founders, CEO, Managers that use social missions to drive growth. At Winning Women, women share their lessons learned to an audience that ranges from 20-60s year old female & males who are eager to learn how to become better leaders, start a business, or juggle their passion project & day job.
About 1 in 5 adults in the United States experience mental illness in a given year, & 1 in 25 adults will have a debilitating mental illness that can interfere with their daily lives. Although mental illness can affect anyone, women are at a higher risk for many conditions, including anxiety & post-traumatic stress disorder. They're also 70 percent more likely than men to experience depression.
Join us for Winning Women: Self Care & Mental Health featuring apresentation & a panel discussion followed by a Q&A sessionwith women with mental health challenges & how they are ending the stigma on Thursday, September 13, 2018, from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at The Farm Soho.
At NYWSE, our mission is to provide the community, tools, trainings, & resources that women need to succeed as business leaders while becoming sustainability experts.Follow @NYWSE & the hashtag #winningwomen as we live tweet the event.
