We're excited to announce the next NY Tech Meetup, when we'll host a special Accessibility Tech Edition at Civic Hall Union Square on Monday, May 11.
This evening will spotlight innovators building technology that expands access, independence, & opportunity for people of all abilities. We're proud to present this program in partnership with Give Beauty Wings, Google & its soon-to-launch Accessibility Discovery Center in NYC, & the NYC Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities.
We're currently finalizing an exciting lineup of demos featuring founders & teams working at the forefront of accessibility, & will announce participants soon. In the meantime, registration is open & we'd love for you to join us.

Give Beauty Wings
Give Beauty Wings is a New York-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals of all backgrounds - particularly women, people of color, & people with disabilities - by nurturing self-esteem, leadership, & personal confidence. Founded from an advocacy initiative that challenged traditional beauty standards & uplifted underrepresented voices, the organization offers tailored workshops, mentorship, & courses that explore identity, culture, authenticity, & life purpose. Through engaging programs with schools, corporations, & community partners, Give Beauty Wings encourages every participant to recognize their unique gifts & potential while fostering inclusive communities that celebrate the beauty & worth of all.

Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities
For half a century, the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD) has been the liaison between New York City government & the disability community. In partnership with City offices & agencies, MOPD ensures City initiatives, programs & policies address the needs & interests of people with disabilities. The office regularly engages in advocacy & policymaking at the local, state, national, & international levels to make certain accessibility & full inclusion are key priorities for all public & private stakeholders alike.
About NY Tech Meetup
NYTM is our signature event that has been a staple for the NYC tech ecosystem since 2004. It's the world's largest meetup group of its kind with members who have a common interest in learning from & helping one another.
