Talk 2: Bridging Design & Production: Tips & Pitfalls for Prototyping & Design Handover using Cursor
by David da Silva Contn
AI tools like Cursor are changing how designers work-but they're not plug-and-play. In this talk, I'll share a workflow that anyone can use to create prototypes that leverage your design system. We'll walk through how this played out in a real-world project, what it takes to set it up, make it work well, & when it's the right choice (vs. when it isn't). You'll leave with practical tips to cut Figma grind, & ways to make your team faster at implementing designs.
David da Silva Contn is a Senior Product Designer at climate tech startup Green Project, drawing on his background as a software engineer & his ongoing experiments with LLMs to design AI features & streamline product workflows.
