Alfred is looking for an experienced PR & Marketing Associate, to focus on building & executing strategic public relations & marketing initiatives. This role will be a key player in driving Alfreds press & marketing efforts, helping define key messages & create integrated 360 campaigns that drive brand awareness to key audiences.
How youll contribute to #OneTeam
- Lead development of plans & execution for PR, Organic/Paid Social, Blog, & Website
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, people, product, sales & leadership teams on campaign execution, including the development of content & design assets & digital marketing to ensure campaign effectiveness
- Develop timelines, agendas, media plans, & action items to drive press & social programs forward productively
- Develop, manage & maintain personal relationships with members of the press
- Craft engaging & creative media pitches & develop story angles that generate attention & meaningful coverage
- Develop promotions & marketing campaigns that generate publicity & added value media exposure
- Manage meetings & effectively communicate about PR & marketing activities
- Report to & collaborate with the VP of Brand to strategize & execute media plans & PR tactics
- Cultivate & manage press & marketing databases
- Stay on top of PR & social industry trends & news
Who you are
- 2+ years of marketing & PR experience, preferably with 1+ year of agency experience
- Experience in Meltwater, SEMrush, Cision, & other PR & marketing tools.
- Strong writing skills to develop media materials including press releases, pitches, executive bios, talking points, scripts, & promotions
- Proven experience developing content & optimizing content across multiple marketing channels
- Digital marketing experience including organic/paid social media, email marketing, & influencer marketing
- Strong project management skills including conceptualization, driving alignment, planning resources, managing deadlines, & objectives, delivering analysis & recommendations
- Comfortable working in an environment where change is expected
- Experience influencing others in the organization with a strong record of leadership across cross functional teams
- Track record in thriving in a hyper-growth environment as a results-oriented team player with a collaborative & can do attitude, strong sense of ownership, & entrepreneurial spirit
