The Enterprise Account Manager is responsible for the retention, success, & growth of Meetup Enterprise Pro & Sponsor clients

Were looking for an Enterprise Account Manager to support the growth & success of an exciting new business within Meetup. The Enterprise team connects the thriving communities on Meetup with companies (e.g. brands, service providers, recruiters, etc). who wish to engage with them through a brand new sponsorship offering. We also help companies develop their own thriving communities through our Pro offering. The particular area of focus for this role will be managing the Pro Account Management team, working with the Sponsorship Sales Team, & managing new Sponsorship clients for success & growth.

Reporting to the General Manager of Enterprise, the Enterprise Account Manager is responsible for the success & growth of Enterprise Pro & Sponsorship clients.

  • Managing, mentoring, & developing enterprise account management processes for both Pro & Sponsorship clients
  • Identifying growth opportunities with existing clients
  • Building exceptional customer relationships with their accounts
  • Developing account management processes for new business opportunities
  • Proactively identifying at-risk clients & coaching them towards success
  • Developing low-lift methods to add value for existing clients
  • Consistently identifying & delivering additional value to customers
  • Using Salesforce best practices to keep our data clean & maintain our sales pipeline

What makes you perfect for the role:

  • 4+ years experience in a customer-facing account management role.
  • Have strong organizational skills to handle a high volume of accounts with ease
  • Able to communicate effectively & articulately in-person, via phone/email with stakeholders at all levels - from community managers to C-Suite executives
  • Be a self-starter who has a high sense of urgency & can flexibly work within undefined processes
  • Educate/coach the account management team
  • Background in project management
  • Deep knowledge of the Meetup platform
  • Educate/coach customers on strategic event management & best practices
  • Experiment with different processes
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
