As Head of Growth & Strategy - CEE & Latam, you will have the unique opportunity to boost the growth of our carpool & bus activity in those regions. BlaBlaCar operates in 11 markets in CEE&Latam region with current focus on Central & Eastern Europe (Russia, Ukraine, Poland) & Brazil. While reporting to VP CEE&Latam, You will be a key assset to those regions's success by either kick-starting operations, supporting growth or ensuring operational excellence.
In particular, BlaBlaCar is launching a new travel vertical on its marketplace, based on bus trips. This will fuel tremendous growth for the company & will be an exciting challenge.
Whilst each country is responsible for its national operations, you will be responsible for growth & coordination at the regional level. As part of your role you will lead the deployment & improvement of processes supporting operations in existing & new geographies. Your mission is to permanently re-think & adapt our Bus & Carpool operations, to make sure they are able to scale.
To succeed in this mission, you will need to follow closely performance of each market.
While dealing with multiple stakeholders & quickly understanding operational complexity, you will need a strong analytical mindset & ability to challenge the status quo.
What you will directly contribute to:
Driving & following up on the strategic framework to grow our bus & carpool business
Designing & optimising our operational model in the region
Developing insights & recommendations on improving operational issues so they can be implemented by local teams
Identifying, prioritizing & executing strategic initiatives across the region
Acting as an advocate between local & central teams, fostering communication & collaboration to maximize the potential of the markets within your region
Working on ad-hoc projects supporting local teams
Managing team of 2-5 people
