Our mission is to make biology easier to engineer. Ginkgo is constructing, editing, & redesigning the living world in order to answer the globe's growing challenges in health, energy, food, materials, & more. Our bioengineers make use of an in-house automated foundry for designing & building new organisms. Today, our foundry is developing over 40 different organisms to make different products across multiple industries.
This role will work to ensure all goods & services are procured & paid for in a compliant & efficient manner. Our sole purpose is to make sure the foundry & program teams (our customers) have the supplies & tools do their jobs. We are looking for someone to help assist with the procurement to pay operations after the new roll out of a system. This person will help with an array of roles & responsibilities & will need to be adaptable & be a self starter in different scenarios.
This is a 3-6-month contract role that can extend or become permanent. However, we cannot make any firm commitments on the likelihood or timeline for that transition. Please note: This is a hybrid role that will require 2-3 days onsite in our Boston office.
