Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources,you will bea credible activist for your clients, your team & our mission. Exert influence to create positive change & proactively mitigate & resolve employee issues. Adaptability andcapabilityto learn the business of yourbusiness unit, Behaviour Digital.You will also partner with them throughout the planning & execution of our people strategy, aligning them back to business strategy.Is willing to« roll uptheirsleeves » to get things done.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Workwithinternal clients to improve organizational design & structure, provide change leadership & management coaching;

  • Act as Senior Business Partner for the Digital Division, which designs our own intellectual properties;

  • Mentor/coach & guide all levels of management to develop positive employee engagement capabilityand leadership skills;

  • Act as "right-hand man" for the Vice-President of Human Resources in the implementation of the different mandates of the department;
  • Resolve employee concerns through compassion, a systematic approach, clear documentation & follow-through;

  • Build credibility & trust among employees;

  • Review & analyze business metrics including data on retention & employee experience to recommend systemic improvements;

  • Help develop & maintaintheBehaviour way; 

  • Partner with the businessunitto focus on succession planning, talent development & organizational health priorities;

  • Participate in the annual performance assessment process;

  • Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions & job re-leveling;

  • Develop & provide training to managers & employees;

  • Oversee management of expatriationcases & work permit requests;

  • Work with line managers & employees to addressvarious employeerelationissues, fairly representing all interests;

  • Actively engaged as an important member of the HR team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or industrial relations

  • 5 to 7 years of experience as an HR manager in the video game industry or related field;
  • Mobilizing leadership & ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Data-drivenandresultoriented

  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills

  • Interestin BehaviouralEconomics andNeuroscience

  • Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills at all management levels

  • Strong presentation & communication skills (oral & written)

  • Bilingual in written & spoken English & French;

  • Member of the Order (CRHA, CRIA)an asset;

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Quebec labour laws.
