Job Description

We are currently seeking an outstanding candidate to join the Regional Cross Border team based in Singapore. As part of this newly formed team, the primary focus of this role will be to outline & evangelize our global strategy as well as champion the governance & operational management framework to ensure success for the organization.

This role requires strong relationship, project management & governance experience, ideally underpinned by a solid knowledge of payments. The role will work closely with in-country cross border leaders as well as sales & cross-functional teams & will ensure alignment & oversight of the global strategy & related deliverables across the region. Focus will be on coordination of the strategy & cross functional teams & the monitoring of execution activities across Asia Pacific

The role is best suited for a candidate who has a strategic mindset, has strong project management skills, experience in management reporting & can seamlessly collaborate across sales & functional teams. This role reports into Asia Pacific VP & Head of Cross Border & Sales Operations & will be based at Visa's regional headquarters in Singapore Robinson Road.

Job Scope
The Regional Cross Border team has the mandate to develop Visa's strategy to drive accelerated growth in our cross border business. The role will initially focus on setting up the foundational infrastructure that encompasses identifying key work streams based on strategy, project manage the delivery of key initiatives as well as lead the management reporting of the sales pipeline across all AP markets. Core deliverables are as below:

Partner with global & cross-functional partners to identify & evaluate key cross border initiatives across Asia Pacific
Develop an integrated view of the sales pipeline across Asia Pacific that includes working closely with the Sales Operations team to develop the tracking infrastructure & providing periodic reporting as required.
Drive co-ordination, communication & collaboration on key priorities & lead the regional cadence on cross border strategy execution.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will be required to extensively collaborate with country teams as well as various cross functional teams.


Proven customer service orientation, interpersonal, organisational & communication skills
Ability to define strategic needs of the business & provide appropriate management reporting to senior leadership team
Experience in leading, directing & facilitating complex projects that drive change management in the organization & promote sales efficiency & effectiveness
Experience in successfully utilising project & portfolio management tools
Excellent verbal & written communication capabilities demonstrating success in conveying messages across a diverse set of stakeholders
Ability to work & adapt in a dynamic environment whilst simultaneously delivering the plan
Experience in successfully utilising project & portfolio management tools
Proven track record of analytical & problem solving skills
Some travel will be required from time to time

Education & Experience:
Strong academic credentials, with an advanced degree
8 years of progressively responsible business experience in project management, sales operations, strategy, business planning or client-facing roles
Prior experience in the banking/financial services sector & knowledge of card payments industry, its products, services & technologies.
