We are looking for a Compensation Analyst to join our team. You will play a key role in helping to support the business by assisting in planning, designing, implementing & communicating compensation policies & practices aimed at enabling FanDuel to bring in the best talent to drive great business performance. You will be able to leverage your curiosity to analyze data & come up with creative solutions to set the foundation & support our complex growing business. 

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Support Compensation Partners across multiple departments, & be serve as alternate point of contact for compensation requests & inquiries from all levels of the business 
  • Participate in compensation surveys by collecting compensation data & then analysis of compensation survey results to ensure competitiveness of our current pay versus the market 
  • Support the year-end bonus & merit compensation processes by assisting in population verification, working with HR & managers to ensure performance ratings completion & analysis of distribution & year-end spend/budgeting 
  • Assist with quarterly commission & bonus plan reconciliation & analytics 
  • Aid in the development of compensation program communications to management & employees, including annual compensation programs 
  • Collaborate closely with HR Managers & Talent Acquisition on employee matters 
  • Review existing & proposed statutory requirements that govern compensation administration to ensure company compliance with relevant laws & regulations 
  • Conduct job analysis & review position descriptions for appropriateness & confirmation of FLSA classifications 
  • Lead various compensation related projects on an as needed basis 
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis needed for special studies, legal & leadership requests 

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation preferred 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred 
  • Advanced proficiency with Office Applications, including Excel, Word & PowerPoint 
  • Results oriented with natural curiosity to solve-problems & come up with actionable solutions 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a lot of ambiguity 
  • Strong attention to detail & an analytical bent 
  • Ability to consolidate & work with large volumes of data 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written. 
  • CCP course completion or similar certification preferred 
  • Interest in Fantasy Sports and/or Sports Gaming preferred

The applicable salary range for this position is $95,000 to $125,000 which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs & market demand. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
