Job Title: Paralegal 

Reports to: Contracts Manager 

Dept: Kepler US Legal Department - Business Operations


Growing global adtech media agency requires support of a NY-based paralegal with outstanding legal administration skills, exceptional work ethic, & attention to detail.  Must be able to multitask with several competing deadlines on administrative projects & urgent legal documents that facilitate the agencys media buys for its industry giant clientele.  


  • Familiarity with tech terms & legalease
  • Experience with meticulous proofreading of legal documents
  • Experience drafting Amendments, NDAs
  • tech skills commensurate with industry corporate legal department standards, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Professional, & the like
  • appropriate internet access commensurate to the work they will be doing; this assignment will include a lot of large, confidential Word & PDF files (not suitable for intermittent phone hotspot or free public internet) 
  • availability at all times to work 9am to 6pm EST 
  • availability for the entirety of Q4 2021
  • Zendesk & Guru experience a plus

Key responsibilities include, without limitation: 

  • Provide paralegal & administrative support to the Contracts Manager (i.e., file recordkeeping/retrieving; coordinate communications/ conference calls with internal stakeholders & outside counsel; update department spreadsheets; other Legal Dept ad hoc projects as requested)
  • Facilitate the execution of legal documents through AdobeSign; follow ups internally as needed; become the recordkeeper/librarian of legal documents & assist with record retrievals & internal audits
  • This role will become the Legal Dept initial point of contact for records, FAQs, legal questions, & an air traffic controller for documents & processes
  • Review & approve high-dollar value (from the thousands to millions in USD & other currencies) insertion orders (IOs) & order forms before they are routed for CAOs signature while ensuring that the format & language used are in line with our standard operating procedures (SOP), templates & approved language library.  
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to modify atypical IO/Order Form language with Contracts Managers approval
  • Ad hoc Legal & AdobeSign training & retraining of employees as needed
  • Draft, review & revise NDAs, amendments & other assigned legal documents with guidance from Contracts Manager, while adhering to internal contract playbooks & policies
  • Track status of contract request & IO assignments through the agencys contract management systems
  • Manage the companys various insurance policy renewals, recordkeeping & tracking systems
  • Ad hoc legal operations projects as requested
