FanDuel Group is looking to add a Responsible Gaming Compliance Senior Associate to its Risk & Compliance Team. Responsible Gaming is one of the key components of FanDuels long term strategy to build a first-class sports betting platform.  We cannot be successful if we dont protect customers who may be at risk for Responsible Gaming issues-- all customers should only play if playing makes sense for them, & if they play, they should only play appropriately & safely.

The Senior Responsible Gaming Associate will be responsible for carrying out Responsible Gaming due diligence & investigations of customer activity, including wagering, game play, concerning language & behavior, & will escalate potential findings to the Manager. The Senior Associate will also be tasked with leading RG Team initiatives, contribute to the development of training, & take on other responsibilities to support team effectiveness. 

We need a Senior Responsible Gaming Compliance Associate to help get us help where we need to go as this industry matures. This critical role will report to the Responsible Gaming Manager, & sits within the FanDuel Group Legal, Risk, Responsible Gaming & Compliance function.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Be the face of Responsible Gaming to internal, as well as external partners when necessary.
  • Act as an escalation point for teammates, as well as a trusted advisor for VIP, Retail & Customer Service teams on complex escalations.
  • Conduct Responsible Gaming risk assessments of customer accounts & manage accounts appropriately.
  • Review & disposition RG alerts & escalations.
  • Act as an escalation point for other members of the RG Team & members of the CS, Retail, & VIP teams.
  • Interacting with players for problem gaming cases, customer complaint escalations, & self-excluded account concerns.
  • Collaborating with the Responsible Gaming Management Team to assist with regulatory reporting, regulatory complaints, & Self-Exclusion List processing when necessary.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of RG processes & systems
  • Provide support for other teams within the Legal, Risk, Responsible Gaming & Compliance group when necessary.

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Once hired, the Compliance Senior Associate will be required to obtain licenses from various jurisdictions to complete tasks associated with their role at FanDuel
  • Bachelors Degree or relevant work experience preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years working in the Responsible Gaming function, Compliance, and/or similar role
  • Ability to effectively prioritize book of work & escalate prioritization issues & complexities
  • Demonstrated aptitude for process execution, including identification of process improvements & suggested solutions
  • Ability to think critically & communicate clearly & efficiently, with internal & external stakeholders without supervision 
  • Passion to work hard in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • An exceptional team player, with a desire to be a leader within FanDuel Group
  • Excellent customer service skills & strong attention to detail
