Blink Health seeks a highly motivated, curious, & results-driven Associate Editor/Writer to conceptualize, write, assign, & edit healthcare industry news & health service articles that educate, inspire, & empower patients to access the prescriptions they need to get well & take healthy steps to stay well. We are looking for a natural storyteller with strong journalism skills to report, edit, & write clear, accessible, resonant content that connects with patients, pharmacists, & healthcare providers, speaks to trends, & amplifies the Blink Health brand in creative, fresh ways. You will contribute to shaping the unique editorial voice & perspective of Blink Health, ensuring that the right content gets delivered to the right audience at the right time through our owned media channels. This hands-on role collaborates closely with Performance Marketing, Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, & Communications teams. Reporting to the Director of Content, this is a full-time position based in NYC.

As Associate Editor/Writer of Content at Blink Health, you will:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of our blog & newsletters: Generate & pitch ideas, write daily blog posts that drive audience & engagement & compelling email copy, line-edit stories from internal & external contributors, execute social posts, & take an always-on approach to publishing.

  • Closely follow health news & healthcare industry trends to generate relevant, helpful stories for the site & content for our social media channels.

  • Uphold editorial guidelines that ensure a consistent brand voice, tone, perspective, & copy standards across website, email, & social channels.

  • Optimize content for SEO best practices & user experience; ensure all copy submissions are well-researched, clean, & timely.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team of product managers, designers, performance marketers, & clinical experts to create SEO-informed content that draws new audiences to Blink Health.

  • Conduct research for & assist in the creation, development & execution of our content calendar, as well as content for targeted campaigns.

  • Create & distribute blog articles, landing pages, newsletters, features, & packages so good that our audience keeps coming back.

  • Proofread materials & provide quality control.

  • Support Social Media Manager in ideating & creating original social content.

  • Assist Director of Content in executing integrated content campaigns that support key marketing & business priorities & drive engagement.

Were Looking for You to Bring:

  • 3+ years experience developing original digital content for a health, healthcare, news, wellness, or lifestyle website, publication, or brand.

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in journalism, communications, or writing.

  • Strong editing, reporting, & writing skills, with the ability to edit & rewrite quickly on deadline & to amplify/produce content across relevant social media platforms.

  • Solid command of tone, language, & health information. You also possess empathy for all aspects of the consumer journey, creating content that answers audience needs & expectations.

  • Excellent communication & project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously & prioritize workload.

  • Knowledge, passion, curiosity, or past experience in health, healthcare, pharma, or wellness.

  • Ability to pitch & assign stories while also independently reporting & writing original pieces daily to meet overall content goalsincluding news, service, & evergreen.

  • Demonstrated success publishing digital content within a CMS & working with analytics tools such as Google Analytics & Google Trends.

  • Resourcefulness, creativity, & passion for our mission to make prescription medicines affordable for everyone.

  • Collaborative spirit & ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You seek to make things better while maintaining high quality & consistently fresh creative.
