About Vivvi: Vivvi provides child care & early learning for todays families. We partner with employers of all sizes to make exceptional full-time & backup care more accessible & affordable. 

About the role: We are looking to fill several positions for our high quality, in-person child care program in partnership with USA Track & Field in support of employees & athletes. Child care staff will lead engaging activities, provide warm care, & maintain a safe environment with a high level of supervision. We are looking for reliable, creative, energetic, curious, & enthusiastic individuals with a commitment to positive behavioral approaches & teamwork.

If you love working with children ages 0-14; maintain a positive, caring, & fun attitude; learn & grow from mistakes; & set an example as a continuous, open-minded learner, you could be a great fit! Folks with backgrounds as teachers, camp counselors, infant & toddler caregivers, group leaders, afterschool staff, etc. would all be welcome!

This is a temporary role from June 22-June 26. Hourly rate is $25. At eight hours per day & five days, total estimated gross pay for this engagement is $1000.


Responsibilities:

  • Report on time & prepared
  • Plan & facilitate group & individual activities 
  • Maintain consistent communication with Site Leaders & follow their directions
  • Model appropriate social behaviors
  • Supervise children & maintain a safe & positive environment for children, their families, & your colleagues

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of child care, teaching, tutoring, and/or camp counselor experience
  • Experience leading care & learning for young children in a group setting
  • Basic behavior management abilities
  • Caring & calm disposition
  • Professionalism, maturity, & the ability to remain calm under pressure
