THE POSITION

The Learning & Development Director, is an exciting new role at FanDuel, reporting to the VP, Talent & Development.  This individual will be responsible for end-to-end program design, development, & implementation of learning & development programs at the enterprise level.  This team member will be responsible for the organization wide LMS & manage relationships with all training & learning vendors as well as internal stakeholders who run training programs within each division of the company. The Director of Learning will ensure a seamless end to end learning experience, ensuring best practices in learning & development are aligned across the company & build a training roadmap that creates a thoughtful, relevant, engaging, & collaborative learning environment.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Manage the portfolio of learning offerings across FanDuel, living at the intersection of planning, program design & delivery, ensuring standards & consistency in program quality
  • Build a learning roadmap for employee capability related to professional skills & functional skills, (i.e. building management capabilities/expertise, functional capabilities, strategic capabilities, etc.)
  • Ensure training methodologies are best in class to include blended, eLearning, in person, & virtual solutions as required & develop strategies to engage employees in a hybrid learning environment & create a thoughtful, relevant, engaging, & collaborative learning environment
  • Evaluate & advise on vendors, technological tools, communication platforms, & learning modalities that are appropriate for identified participant population preferences, business unit needs, budget & other resource requirements
  • Partner with Director, DE&I to ensure training is inclusive & aligned with our DE&I roadmap
  • Strategic vendor & budget management, building a network of partners & service providers
  • Manage multiple vendor relationships to ensure quality program delivery
  • Provide off-the-shelf solutions that engage our employees & supplement formalized L&D (e.g. LinkedIn Learning)

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum 7 years experience working in training & learning & development with extensive experience with learning & development program strategy & delivery, including managing day-to-day learning & development program design, implementation & communications
  • Ability to build from the ground up, as part of a new function & team
  • Able to manage multiple projects & deadlines, in fast-paced environment
  • Experience with training various training methodologies including training in hybrid & remote environments
  • Experience consulting with internal stakeholders regarding learning & development program/product offerings
  • Prior experience with Adobe Captivate Prime a plus
  • Experience & skill in strategic vendor management
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead & manage change in a fast paced, dynamic, & high-growth organization
