Warby Parker is on the lookout for a sharp-as-a-tack Paralegal/Contracts Administrator to join our growing Legal team. In this role, youll oversee & maintain our organizations contracts & information management system. In close collaboration with our Commercial Counsel, youll also review day-to-day contracting that supports various aspects of Warby Parker business. Through a number of special projects, youll continually hone your skills while providing ongoing support to the Legal team. Sound cool? Read on!

What youll do:

  • Work cross-functionally with our business teams to prepare, draft, & process contracts (e.g., NDAs, vendor agreements) & other legal documents
  • Coordinate & develop the contract management workflow, including maintenance of the contract repository
  • Assist in IP processes, such as conducting preliminary trademark knockout searches or monitoring & responding to potential infringers
  • Facilitate litigation processes, from legal hold implementations to eDiscovery processes to insurance-related matters
  • Manage legal billing software & billing guidelines; communicate with outside counsel on billing matters
  • Conduct legal & factual research on a range of matters, including regulatory, trademark, brand, & other issues significant to Warby Parkers business

Who you are:

  • Backed by 2 years of legal experience, including time working as a paralegal, contracts manager, or legal assistant at a company or law firm
  • Detailed-oriented & impeccably organized (you like your bookshelves alphabetized & spreadsheets color-coded)
  • A masterly time manager whos able to prioritize tasks & remain productive while balancing multiple projects
  • Not on the Office of Inspector Generals List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

Extra credit:

  • Able to conduct initial contract reviews
  • Experience working at a fast-paced, growing company
  • A certified notary
  • Experience with Concord, Freshdesk, & Google Drive (we use them all!)
