Reporting to the Director of Sponsorship & Ad Sales, this role will be integral in leveraging FanDuels linear & digital channels to increase sales & create a foundation to ensure the company continues its rapid growth. The Account Executive will be accountable for achieving sales goals & driving a cohesive sales strategy that is aligned with the broader business goals.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Work with the Director & team to sell advertising & integrated sponsorships to national & regional brands & advertisers
  • Achieve or exceed revenue goals, & non-revenue based MBOs, where applicable
  • Aggressively pursue & develop strategic relationships with large advertisers & agencies across a multitude of categories
  • Build & deliver effective media packages for prospective & current clients
  • Work with Account Manager & Coordinator to ensure campaigns are being tracked & optimized for performance & profitability 
  • Ideate to create new ideas, features, & packages to bring to market
  • Maintain current knowledge of advertising industry landscape, market trends, and
  • Category/advertiser activity, particularly within the sports industry, & adjust strategy & tactics as needed
  • Mentor supporting team members & assist with their career development

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in advertising & sponsorship sales with proven record of success; digital or sports background a plus
  • Deep knowledge of the advertising industry (ideally digital and linear) with a strong professional network of advertising professionals & agency executives
  • Knowledge or interest in fantasy sports, sports betting, & overall sports industry important
  • Superior communication & presentation skills & professional demeanor
  • Experience working in a fast paced, matrixed organization is a plus
  • Experience working with both brand & performance-based advertisers is a plus
  • Personable & approachable; no ego
  • Puts the companys best interest ahead of personal agenda; a true team player who is passionate about the brand & the direction of the business
  • Operates with honesty & sound judgement & is self-aware
  • Roll-up-your-sleeves attitude & approach
