Join fellow technologists, entrepreneurs, and investors for the NY Enterprise Technology Meetup's (NYETM) January meetup on Wednesday 1/14/14 from 6:30pm-9:00pm!

For our January meetup we have some exciting companies demoing their technologies, including:

Socure - Socure provides cost effective anti-fraud solutions via SaaS to financial institutions, e-commerce sites and payment providers. The company developed Social Biometrics to address the growing global problem of identity fraud for enterprises. By uniquely combining social data across all major social networks, data from offline identity verification sources and open Internet data, Socure's Social Biometrics can assess if a customer is real or fake at registration, login or payments. The system materially reduces fraud rates as well as both false positives and negatives for enterprises around the world.

Kidozen - KidoZen is a next generation enterprise mobile application platform that provides enterprise-ready backend capabilities to mobile applications. The KidoZen platform allows organizations to develop and manage enterprise mobile applications that leverage standard development toolkits to seamlessly integrate with enterprise systems. With dozens of mobile-first enterprise connectors and infrastructure capabilities in areas such as identity management, storage and security, KidoZen offers organizations a platform to implement mobile applications that leverage their existing enterprise assets. The platform can be deployed in public, private and hybrid topologies which offer organizations a diversity of models to enable their enterprise mobile infrastructure.

Syncsort - Syncsort is a global leader in Big Data software, with thousands of existing customers across 85 countries, and is an active contributor to the Apache Hadoop family of projects. Syncsort's Apache Hadoop-based product line is now running in production on some of the most industrial-scale Hadoop clusters in the world, as well as on Amazon Web Services, Forbes featured Syncsort in its Top 10 Big Data Pure-Plays 2014 report, and Database Trends and Applications magazine selected Syncsort's Apache Hadoop-based product, DMX-h, as a "Trend-Setting Product for 2014. Many of these deployments are offload scenarios, where the customers are moving data and workloads from more expensive legacy systems into Hadoop. Syncsort's Hadoop software offers powerful new ways to manage, store, and analyze data, upending massive legacy markets with improved performance, dramatically lower price points, and cutting-edge capabilities

Luminal (Fugue) - Fugue is immutable infrastructure, realized. It automates the creation, operations, and regeneration of your cloud infrastructure (instances, load balancers, networks, security groups, networks, VPCs). Fugue runs inside your AWS environment and is active in the runtime environment, automating infrastructure operations and replacing components on your schedule to eliminate drift and unwanted changes with no impact on performance. Fugue features Ludwig, a concise infrastructure declaration language and compiler that provides for rich, repeatable declarative expressions and the ability to compose infrastructure using libraries and other programming techniques. With Ludwig, validation and error-checking occurs in design/compile time, not in the runtime. Fugue is a Luminal production and is available in beta on AWS.
